The almost perfect weekend.

Last week work was HELL. I usually work quite well under stress, but I’m having a hard time with one of my co-workers. It’s like every word she says to me or about me makes me want to scratch my eyeballs out. Yes–the whistler has struck again, but now she has added the blame game, stupidity, and complaining to her repertoire.

I needed to blow of some stress so when Ray called me Friday and demanded I come out to the gay bar with him I was more than happy to oblige. I knew I would be mega tired the next day for the big work event, but it was totally worth it.

We piled in the car with a few of his friends from work and headed to Town Danceboutique in DC. If you’re in the area and want a place with great music to dance to, this is the place. They even have hot guys dancing in their underwear–granted they are a little sweaty and disgusting, but it’s still entertaining.

We shut the place down at about 4 am, so needless to say I didn’t get any sleep before I had to head back into the office. We were having a ceremony for this. I can’t say much about it for fear that a co-worker will somehow type in a few key words and pop up on my site, but it was a great success considering we were drenched in rain. I was literally soaking wet (that’s what she said) and stopped using an umbrella after a while because there was no point.

I went home and slept for 14 hours when the adrenaline from the event wore off. Sunday was a day of rest that included watching last season of Entourage, eating way too much, and then drooling over Brit Brit on the VMAs.

What did y’all get into?
